Improving Safety and Quality of Life

By providing vets like Donald electric wheelchairs and ground transportation, not only can they get the much needed care they require, but they become mobile and are able to enjoy life again. By working with their communities and being revitalized, their quality of life improves and their lifespan. Uplifting and enabling veterans does require resources and time. Please consider a donation to help uplift our veterans.

Connecting Veterans and Their Communities

Model Communities and Revitalization programs provide job skills training for veterans and their families, integrating community leaders and residents (technical and business incubators self-management, allied health and lay leaders). We have a talented team of proven senior leaders in medicine, business, personnel management, energy, real estate and infrastructure development as well as the military to guide us and partner with us to help veterans and their families.

Continuum of Care and Outreach

It is suspected that nearly 20% to 30% of veterans suffer from PTSD / TBI and only half of those actually seek care and treatment. Out of those that seek treatment, only half of those get "minimally adequate" treatment. LIFT A VET is engaging the diverse medical community to deliver holistic, sustainable inpatient and outpatient therapy to veterans suffering from PTSD including addiction, sexual trauma, and domestic violence. Our long term goal is to create a model by which veterans can be professionally and sympathetically evaluated, cared for and revitalized with the hopes they can achieve more within their communities.
